To help build up the pool of expertise and knowledge on sustainable development, the BCA Academy is collaborating with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), USA to offer the Executive Development Program on Leadership in Environmental Sustainability from 18 - 23 April 2011 in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.  We would like to invite you and senior executives from your organisations to join the program.

The program offers an excellent learning experience for senior executives in the building sector to gain a global perspective and valuable insights on some key issues influencing sustainable development of the built environment.  The participants will have the opportunity to learn from, and interact with, the distinguished professors from CMU and guest speakers from the US building industry.  The customised program is designed to build green stewardship capability and help organisations embark & pursue environmental sustainability through leading-edge strategies that would cover the following key areas:

There will also be project visits to LEED Award projects such as David L Lawrence Convention Centre (largest Gold LEED certified green convention centre in the world), and Greater Philadelphia Innovation Cluster (a U.S DOE Energy Hub for efficient buildings).  Participants would have the opportunity to interact with building owners, design teams as well as facility managers from these buildings.

This program has been conducted since 2009 and we have senior executives from the public and private sector participated in the programme.  They included participants ranging from CEOs, Managing Directors and Senior VPs from Developers, Engineering Consultancies, Architectural Practices and Builders to senior public sector officials from Housing Development Board, Ministry of Education, BCA and National Parks.
