[On-Demand] SGBC Webinar: Transitioning to Net Zero for the Built Environment Sector
The built environment sector is responsible for a significant proportion of global carbon emissions – in both construction and operations. Progress is already being made to reduce those emissions and there's now greater awareness of the environmental impact of buildings. Compounding this, stakeholders and shareholders have greater ESG expectations. There is a significant opportunity to build new business. Decarbonizing the built environment can create as much as $800.0 billion to $1.9 trillion in new green value pools across sectors. During this SGBC Webinar in collaboration with SGBC Member Unravel Carbon, you will learn: Why actors in the industry should transition to net zero What is the current stage of the industry transformation The interplay between operation and embodied carbon emissions What are the levers available to transition to net zero The implementation and roadmap required Access the webinar on-demand here: https://digitalacademy.sgbc.sg/course/transitioning-to-net-zero-for-the-built-environment-sector
