Green & Sustainable Finance Courses

Course 1 – Tapping on Sustainable & Green Financing for Decarbonisation Action
Green and sustainable finance has the potential to fund and implement initiatives that contribute towards a more resilient and equitable society. For businesses, investors, and policymakers alike, a foundational understanding of the principles, operational mechanisms, and evolving market dynamics of green and sustainable finance is paramount.
This course has been specifically designed to equip non-finance professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to comprehend, articulate, and advocate for green initiatives effectively.
Course 2 – Accessing Green and Sustainable Finance with Green Building
The proliferation of various sustainable finance taxonomies and green building certifications have resulted in a diverse set of mechanisms to define green buildings for the purposes of accessing sustainable finance.
This course will look into the ecosystem of taxonomies, green building certifications and the role of second party opinion providers. The course will also address the extent to which green building certifications match up to regulatory requirements for green and sustainable finance. Case studies will be provided to illustrate how building and project owners can access green finance, as well as transition finance for the greening of existing brown assets.
*Please note that Courses 1 & 2 are independent courses that can be attended individually; Course 1 is not a prerequisite to attend Course 2.
