Blended Learning Certification Course
Take the next step towards a deeper understanding of green buildings and built environment sustainability.
The 3-part blended-learning Green Mark Associate (GMA) certification course will cover the national environmental sustainability legislative framework, the key qualities of a green built environment as well as green building focus areas including energy efficiency, passive design and indoor environment quality.
The GMA Certification Course is ideal for new industry entrants or non-technical built environment-related professionals looking to improve knowledge and competency on built environment sustainability. Be a part of the growing Green Mark Associate community with over 300 professionals from across the building and construction value chain.
*Kindly note this is an introductory-level course. While valuable for building fundamental knowledge, it does not meet the requirements for CPD accreditation for active GMAPs and/or GMAAPs.
In-Person, Instructor-led CPD Training Course
Green and sustainable finance are common buzzwords floating about in almost any sustainability conversation but do you know what they actually entail? Gain a deeper understanding of green and sustainable finance principles and their applications at our SGBC Green and Sustainable Finance Course Series, specially curated for non-finance professionals seeking to tap into green and sustainable finance, as well as to articulate and advocate for green initiatives more effectively
In-Person CPD Event
Accelerating the path to net zero in the built environment requires a comprehensive approach that combines innovation, policy, sustainable finance, and building best practices. As the government strengthens decarbonisation commitments through regulatory frameworks, businesses are also accelerating their sustainability efforts. To meet these evolving demands, the built environment industry must adopt new strategies, embrace emerging technologies, and rethink traditional approaches to design and construction.
This Seminar, co-delivered with SGBC Member JTC, presents a holistic approach to decarbonisation. Attendees will gain insights into the Mechanical and Electrical Carbon Calculator (MECC), a specialised tool for carbon assessment, and learn how it supports the transition to low-carbon buildings. The session will also cover sustainable financing solutions, offering practical guidance on funding green projects, alongside an overview of the latest mandatory energy efficiency standards. Additionally, key low-carbon design principles will be discussed to help industry professionals implement effective emissions reduction strategies. Join us to discover actionable solutions that drives decarbonisation in the built environment.
