As demand for lower-carbon buildings continues to grow, reliable environmental data is becoming increasingly important across the built environment value chain. Manufacturers are facing growing expectations to provide Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and product-level emissions data, while developers and contractors require this information to assess embodied carbon, inform procurement decisions, meet tender requirements and support green building certifications. However, many organisations continue to navigate fragmented datasets, spreadsheets and varying methodologies, resulting in significant manual effort, inconsistencies and challenges in responding efficiently to evolving data requirements.

This Lunch and Learn with SGBC Member Zevero will explore how organisations can establish a reliable and centralised carbon data foundation to support diverse business and project requirements. The session will examine how operational and supply chain data can be used to develop product-level carbon calculations and EPDs, and how this information can subsequently support embodied carbon assessments across the built environment. G&W Ready Mix will join Zevero to share its experience in developing EPDs, providing practical insights into the drivers behind its EPD journey, the challenges encountered and how growing demand for product-level carbon information is influencing its business.

Green building certification provides an important foundation for advancing sustainability and supporting the built environment’s transition towards net-zero emissions.

This SGBC Learning Session with SGBC Founding Member Building System and Diagnostics (BSD) will provide a practical introduction to how green building certification can support progress towards net zero. Participants will explore emerging trends in green building certification, the role of carbon emissions in the decarbonisation journey, and opportunities for organisations to take practical steps towards their net-zero goals. The session will also examine the business value of decarbonisation and introduce key carbon-accounting concepts. Through a hands-on activity, participants will gain a practical understanding of how carbon emissions are calculated and categorised, and how carbon data can inform decarbonisation strategies and decision-making.

Virtual Event

‘Building Resilience to Heat’ is the inaugural WorldGBC Asia Pacific Network Resilience Webinar, taking place on 8 September 2026 during World Green Building Week 2026. Led by AGC and hosted by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC), the webinar will bring together government and industry leaders to explore how Asia Pacific can respond to extreme heat while remaining on the path to net zero.

Through practical discussion and regional examples, it will examine policy, urban planning, building design, materials, construction and building operations. Insights from the webinar will inform follow-up focus groups and a regional position paper on heat resilience.
