How can synergistic partnerships push the envelope for enhanced building performance?
This was the theme explored during the SGBC Seminar held on 23 May 2025, supported by SGBC Member ACwise. The event brought together industry experts and technology leaders to show how collaboration and innovation can boost building energy performance as well as deliver real environmental impact and financial benefits.
SGBC Member C&W Services Singapore highlighted how sustainable buildings command higher valuations and the critical role Environmental Sustainability plays in this transformation. The Centre for Environmental Sustainability (CfES) at Ngee Ann Polytechnic shared how sustainability research has translated into impactful technologies for the wider built environment sector. ACwise then provided a technological deep-dive into nanorefrigerants, outlining how this molecular nanotechnology is designed to boost cooling performance and improve overall efficiency of HVAC systems. The session also featured multiple case studies demonstrating measurable outcomes from successful partnerships, highlighting concrete energy and cost savings achieved through collaborative initiatives.
