Dear SGBC Members,

The Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) will be celebrating its 2nd Anniversary on 15 September 2011 at Marina Mandarin Hotel. We will be hosting a formal dinner to commemorate this grand occasion with a pre-dinner cocktail reception at 6:30pm. Our theme for the evening would be “Unity in Green”.

We are proud of our accomplishments, so far.  We have expanded our membership base to 318 and elevated the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) Certification Scheme in the realm of Building and Construction Industry. Last year, the Inaugural Singapore Green Building International Conference and WorldGBC International Congress attracted approximately 700 participants to share their expertise and knowledge of Green Technology.  In addition, SGBC has also been invited to co-chair the prestigious World GBC Asia Pacific Networking and Tropical and Subtropical Green Building Councils Alliance Symposium.  This year, we are participating together with our supportive members in the upcoming BEX ASIA 2011 on 14-16 Sept.

To mark our coming of age, we will be presenting awards to our deserving members, as well as companies with green products certified by SGBC, for their efforts in working alongside us to propel Singapore’s building and construction industry towards environmental sustainability.

Our Guest-of-Honor will arrive at 7.30 pm and the evening programme of awards presentation and live entertainment will commence. A nine course dinner will be served at 8.30pm. The dress code is formal with a touch of green.

Your presence and support will definitely enhance the significance and prestige of the occasion.  We would be grateful if you could confirm your attendance by 1 September 2011, using the attached reply form and send it to us via fax or email (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)).
