This afternoon, more than 30 SGBC Members and Green Mark Professionals had the opportunity to experience first-hand how artificial intelligence is transforming the built environment at a SGBC Learning Journey powered by SGBC Founding Member Singapore Polytechnic in partnership with ST Engineering.
Hosted at the ST Engineering Hub, participants explored a curated suite of AI-enabled sustainability solutions designed to optimise building performance, enhance energy efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making, which included introduction to solutions that:
- Enable HVAC and ACMV optimisation while supporting sustainability reporting, offering a real-time view of building performance
- Transform complex data into actionable insights with minimal training, making advanced analytics accessible to a wider range of users
- Reimagine learning and engagement through AI-powered virtual characters, addressing traditional training limitations while building capability
From optimising building systems to transforming how facilities are monitored and managed, AI is increasingly becoming a key enabler of smarter, more resilient buildings. This learning journey offered a valuable glimpse into how these technologies are being applied today, and what the future of AI-enabled built environment sustainability could look like.
