The Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) hosted on 12 May 2026 its annual Appreciation Lunch in honour of the members of the various SGBC Committees.
The event served as a formal acknowledgement of the significant contributions made by these volunteers, who serve across the areas of Certification, Technical Development, Market Outreach, and Professional Development.
In particular, the Technical Committees – encompassing Architectural, Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Smart Technologies, Urban Greenery, and related disciplines – have played an instrumental role in advancing SGBC’s certification schemes. Through their rigorous review and continuous effort, these Committees ensure that SGBC’s certification schemes remain current, technically robust, and aligned with industry best practices and technological developments.
Their collective expertise and wisdom have been essential in maintaining the credibility and relevance of SGBC’s certification standards within Singapore’s built environment sector.
Beyond certification, the work of all SGBC Committees – including governance, professional development, and market development initiatives – contributes directly to the Council’s mission of advancing a sustainable, resilient built environment for Singapore.
SGBC extends its sincere appreciation to every committee member for their time, professionalism, and dedication.
