The Samwoh Smart Hub is one of the first office buildings to be certified as a BCA Green Mark Platinum Positive Energy building and has achieved 84% energy savings improvement as compared to the 2005 baseline.
A total of eight new innovative energy-efficient solutions have been implemented at Samwoh Smart Hub under the Green Buildings Innovation Cluster (GBIC) – Demonstration programme. Collectively, these technologies help Samwoh Smart Hub to save more than $220,000 annually on energy cost, making it a strong return on investment with payback period of about four years.
