Go 25 A4 Landscape 2

As we work towards a cleaner and greener Singapore, addressing energy efficiency is just as crucial as enhancing our food security or effectively managing waste. Overcooling in offices and buildings represents a significant drain on our energy resources.

To date, more than 140 private sector organisations have joined all public sector entities to Go 25. All it takes is one simple step to start your Go 25 journey: set indoor temperatures to 25°C or as close as feasible in premises or building spaces under direct operational control. Here’s how you can 𝐀𝐂𝐄 your sustainable cooling strategy:

➡️ 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 – the core of the Go 25 movement but a managed approach is key to success. Phase implementation of higher temperature adjustments, set and communicate clear policies, implement smart controls and create cool zones for areas with identified high heat loads.
➡️ 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐫 – strategic air movement is key to making higher indoor temperatures feel fresh and comfortable. Optimise usage of ceiling fans, deploy auxillary cooling, maintain AHUs and conduct airflow assessments.
➡️ 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐫 – consistently introducing fresh air is critical for preventing a stuffy feeling indoors and maintaining cognitive function. Maintain and clean ventilation systems, utilise demand-controlled ventilation, manage humidity levels.
