The first run of the SGBC Industry Course on Corporate Carbon Footprint for Climate‑Related Disclosures was held on 3 March 2026 at the Singapore Sustainability Academy (SSA). SGBC Member Sustinere Pte. Ltd., represented by lead trainer Ms Grace Cheah, guided nearly 30 attendees on the importance of environmental disclosures in this day and age.
Over the session, attendees strengthened their understanding of:
- How to interpret and quantify Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions
- Approaches to preparing reliable, decision-ready carbon data
- What organisations need to support climate‑related disclosures in line with emerging reporting expectations
- Practical considerations for improving carbon transparency and organisational readiness
Professionals from across the built environment sector came together to deepen their carbon accounting capabilities and enhance climate reporting confidence, signalling growing interest in this space.
