As Singapore advances toward a more sustainable built environment, the demand for greener and smarter electrical installation solutions continues to grow. Modular technologies have the potential to enhance installation efficiency, improve safety, and support the nation’s green building aspirations.
On 15 Aug. 2025, SGBC held a Lunch & Learn session with Wieland Electric and Hensel Electric for more than 20 Green Mark Professionals, offering them a hands-on experience with pioneering electrical solutions designed for prefabrication, electric vehicle infrastructure, and sustainable building upgrades.
During the lunchtime session, GMPs discovered how Wielandโs SGBP-certified connectors and pluggable systems are designed for efficient, flexible installations, along with learning more about Hensel’s IP-rated junction boxes and modular power distribution systems that are built for durability and safety in diverse applications. Participants also gained much practical insight into how these technologies can support greener, high-performance buildings in Singapore.
