Is the BCA Green Mark certification the finish line, or just the beginning of a building’s sustainability journey? Achieving BCA Green Mark certification is an important milestone, but maintaining a building’s performance over time can be a challenge.
This afternoon, we brought our SGBC Members and Green Mark Professionals on an SGBC Learning Journey to the premises of SGBC Member Delta Electronics where we explored two sides of the challenge: how building owners and Certified Energy Managers can manage the performance gap through recommissioning, continuous monitoring and occupant engagement; how emerging power technologies such as Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) can improve on-site energy efficiency, reliability and emissions reduction.
