Building the Real Estate Talent Pipeline

The future of Singapore’s real estate sector depends on a strong and steady pipeline of skilled talent. To address this critical need, the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore (REDAS) has partnered with the National University of Singapore (NUS) to launch a comprehensive Real Estate Talent Development Programme.

By consolidating opportunities across the industry, the programme aims to present a coordinated and compelling signal to students about the diverse and rewarding careers the real estate sector offers.

Why Join the Programme?

As a participating organisation, you will play a direct role in shaping the next generation of real estate professionals. The programme offers:

  • Access to Talent: Connect with motivated NUS students who have demonstrated interest in real estate, giving you first access to emerging talent.
  • Diverse Engagement Formats: Participate by offering management traineeships, internships, or mentorships – flexible options that suit your organisation’s capacity and needs.
  • Visibility Across the Industry: Be listed alongside other leading organisations from the public and private sectors, showcasing your commitment to talent development.
  • A Coordinated Industry Effort: Join over 40 organisations, including BCA, City Developments Ltd, DBS, Frasers Property, GuocoLand, and Keppel, that have already expressed interest or committed opportunities.

Companies are invited to offer internship opportunities to NUS students pursuing real estate-related studies within the period of May 2026 to April 2028. Internships provide year 1 and year 2 students with meaningful exposure to the realities of the industry and help them make informed decisions about their career paths. Roles can span a wide range of functions, including:

  • Asset Management
  • Commercial Leasing
  • Fintech
  • Project Development
  • And more

REDAS will aggregate the internship opportunities for NUS to publish on the NUS Talent Connect Portal and dissemination by faculty leaders. Students will then apply directly to the companies for interviews and placements.
