Standards and accreditation are more than just technical benchmarks; they are essential for enhancing quality, fostering trust in Singapore’s products and services, and serving as a vital pillar in the advancement of national sustainability efforts.
On 7 April 2026, Enterprise Singapore – in partnership with the Singapore Standards Council (SSC) and the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) – held the annual Standards & Conformance Partners Appreciation to celebrate the partners contributing to the country’s robust quality and standards ecosystem.
SGBC CEO Er. Yvonne Soh was honoured with the Distinguished Partner Award at the event – the highest accolade presented for her contributions to Singapore’s standards ecosystem. Through her leadership roles with the SAC Council and Enterprise Singapore, she has been instrumental in fostering trust in local products and services through standards development. Notably, her commitment to excellence led to SGBC Pte Ltd – the certification body responsible for the evaluation of the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification applications – achieving SAC accreditation in 2024, further solidifying SGBC’s role in driving sustainable building standards in Singapore.
