The UNEP Global Cooling Pledge Assembly 2026 convened in Singapore on 15-18 Sept. 2026, where Pledge signatory countries, cities, industry leaders, development finance institutions, and technical partners came together to accelerate the deployment of sustainable cooling solutions and strengthen collaboration across the global cooling ecosystem.
SGBC is happy and honoured to be part of this important conversation on Day 2 of the Assembly as the Singapore built environment sector continues on its journey towards more sustainable cooling in the tropics. During the event, the discussion moved from identified needs to practical solutions, partnerships and pathways to scale. Implementation roundtables and Beat the Heat training focused on what works, the enabling conditions required and the contributions that partners can make across the four areas of work.
