Indoor environmental quality is fundamental to creating healthy, productive and sustainable buildings. As building owners and occupants place greater emphasis on health, hygiene and sustainability, technology plays an increasingly important role in enabling these outcomes.
On 15 May 2026, SGBC brought our Green Mark Professionals (GMPs) on a SGBC Learning Journey to the Dyson Singapore Headquarters, made possible by SGBCMember Fameline APSG Pte Ltd.
Participants gained valuable insights into how technology can be strategically integrated to improve indoor air quality, hygiene and energy efficiency within the built environment. Key learning points from the session include:

– Energy-efficient engineering design
– Sustainability and lifecycle considerations through reduced consumables and recyclable components
– Touch-free hygiene and energy-efficient washroom solutions
