Lighting is key in designing environmentally responsible spaces and contributing to a greener, more sustainable future. On 6 Nov. 2024, SGBC brought a group of Green Mark Professionals (GMPs) and Member representatives on a SGBC Learning Journey supported by SGBC Member Signify to learn about maximising the potential of light to achieve sustainability goals.
The experts at Signify shared about ultra-efficient, long-life, and recyclable lighting solutions. Participants also learnt about the science of circadian lighting, smart IoT lighting sensors and systems, solar-based renewable energy outdoor lighting, and sustainable materials. Critically, the learning journey also delved into the critical topic of sustainability and its connection to fulfilling Green Mark requirements.
