This circular issused by the National Environment Agency (NEA) outlines the updated MEES requirements for existing industrial facilities following the amendments to the subsidiary legislations under the Energy Conservation Act (“ECA”) to extend Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (“MEES”) for Water-Cooled Chilled Water Systems (“WCCWS”) that came into effect on 1 December 2025.
