Achieving efficient and comfortable buildings requires more than just good equipment – it requires smarter control strategies. That was the core message at this afternoon’s SGBC Learning Journey with SGBC Members Sanmu (SG) Pte Ltd and Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP).
Our participants learned much through two insightful presentations:
- Coleman Lim (Sanmu) shared hard-won lessons from the field on EC fan installation and commissioning, covering common site issues, performance verification, and troubleshooting.
- David Teo (Ngee Ann Polytechnic) presented cutting-edge research on the PCEL framework, demonstrating how physics-informed AI can enhance forecasting accuracy and robustness for Model Predictive Control.
The AHU live demonstration at the NP Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Laboratory and Q&A session rounded off a truly enriching afternoon.
