Representing Singapore Green Building on the World Stage

Representing Singapore on the World Stage 1

For over a decade, SGBC Member representatives have held seats at the World Green Building Council Board of Directors – a testament to Singapore’s onus on sustainable development and green building expertise.

We are proud to see that representation on this global platform continue, with two SGBC Member representatives – Mr. Hugh Lim from the Centre for Liveable Cities and Ms Farah Naz from SJ Group – elected onto the WorldGBC Board on Friday, 26 June 2026.

This significant achievement signals the deepening trust in Singapore’s approach to sustainable urban development, from our tropical climate solutions to our policy frameworks and industry collaboration.

Singapore’s presence on the WorldGBC Board has always been about contribution, not just representation. With this expanded voice, we are even better positioned to help shape the global conversation on decarbonising the built environment.
