In tropical climates like Singapore where the building envelope accounts for nearly 50 percent of a building’s thermal load, high-performance façade systems play a critical role in reducing energy consumption and minimising carbon footprints.
On 25 April 2025, SGBC co-organised a Lunch and Learn session with SGBC Member Technoform Asia Pacific, where we delved into proven strategies for designing high-performance facades and creating energy-efficient buildings that align with the industry’s sustainability goals.
Experts from Technoform also took participants on a site walkabout around the City Developments Limited Singapore Sustainability Academy Annex building to examine the various advanced thermal insulation solutions in action.
