On 6 March 2025, SGBC Pte Ltd was recognised as a newly accredited Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) during the Singapore Accreditation Council Customer Day 2025 event.
This achievement follows SGBC Pte Ltd’s – the Certification Body for the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification scheme – accreditation by the SAC in 2024 for meeting the standards stipulated in the ISO/IEC 17065: Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Processes and Services.
SAC accreditation highlights the reliability and rigour of the SGBP certification process, ensuring robust protocols are in place for SGBP-certified products to meet stringent environmental performance benchmarks. This milestone not only strengthens trust in the SGBP certification scheme but also reinforces Singapore’s position as a global leader in advancing sustainable building.
